Ravencoin — Storing (and recovering) Assets on REAL Ravencoin Ballet Wallet
The Ballet wallet has built-in support for Ravencoin (RVN). The REAL Bitcoin Ballet Wallet and the REAL Ravencoin Ballet Wallet will support RVN with the free Ballet Crypto Wallet mobile software.
But what about Ravencoin assets?
The Ballet wallet software does not support Ravencoin assets, but read on for the solution.
The address on the Ravencoin version is a native Ravencoin crypto address, so you can send assets directly to the address.
Note: You can also use the REAL Bitcoin Ballet Wallet to store Ravencoin assets, but you’ll need to hit “Manage >” in the Ballet software and [Activate] Ravencoin. Then hit Receive to get your Ravencoin address.
Steps to send assets to Ballet Wallet:
- Get Ravencoin address
- Send asset to Ravencoin address
That’s the easy part.
What about getting the asset off of the Ballet Wallet? If you’re familiar with these wallets, then you know that the encrypted private key is hidden under the tamper-evident top sticker which must be peeled. And the decryption key is under the tamper-evident scratch-off material. So we have to tamper with the card to get any coins (or assets) off.
