Ravencoin won a contest that was run in parallel to March Madness college basketball but instead paired up crypto-currencies. Ravencoin pulled an upset against XRP (Ripple), and continued winning the twitter poll voting match-ups until it beat Bitcoin (BTC) in the final round.

The Android Wallet with asset support is in testing. Once this is released, all six platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and Web) will be available with asset support for all of them. This makes for a very complete system issuing, transferring, and holding assets.
The iOS wallet with asset sweep feature is in testing. This allows the sweeping of a paper wallet that is holding assets into the new addresses generated by the iOS wallet. This sweep feature allows a paper cold wallet in a safe to store RVN and Ravencoin Assets, and the ability to safely retrieve them with an Apple Phone when the RVN or asset is needed.
Messaging is live on testnet. This provides a linked immutable memo with every transaction stored in IPFS or OIP. OIP support gives Medici Land Governance additional tools.
A new exchange added RVN support. Bitrue has RVN pairs — RVN/USDT, RVN/XRP and RVN/BTC.

Ravenland adds IPFS Mirror service for Ravencoin. This service mirrors the meta-data that is inserted into to the Ravencoin chain. The power of large immutable data tied to a transferrable token, combined with immutable memos for each transaction brings entirely new use-cases for Ravencoin 2nd layer systems.
