Through June, Bitcoin was on a bull run with an additional boost from the announcement of Facebook’s Libra Project. Ravencoin did not participate in the bull run and remained relatively flat in $USD terms, and dropped relative to BTC. Ravencoin currently sits at $0.0485 and #47 on CoinMarketCap.com Because the recent BTC run, funds from alt-coins (including RVN) sloshed out of alts and into Bitcoin.

CoinPayments added RVN to their accepted cryptocurrencies. CoinPayments provides merchant services to Overstock, and 2 million other vendors. This allowed RVN to be accepted on Vinsent.

Two more phases of Ravencoin’s roadmap have been coded and added to testnet. Memos allow meta-data to be included with every transaction. Messages allow the token issuer to communicate with token holders. Tags and Restricted Assets lets a new type of asset to be issued that follows on-chain rules, and allows freezing by the asset issuer of their own issued token. These new features provide tools that can be used by issuers of tokens that may be deemed to be securities as well as new use cases like game subscriptions. The timing for the move to mainnet will depend on the results from ongoing testing.

The Ravencoin EU Meetup took place on June 19th in Amsterdam. The venue was donated by Blockchain Expo Europe. Tron presented and participated in a moderated Q&A with other Ravencoin-based project leaders. The Ravencoin Community raised most of the funds to help make this happen. A Ravencoin Asset named TRON/FUNDEUROPE gift receipt was sent to participants that sent 500 RVN or more.

Trezor support was added to the Web wallet by MangoFarmAssets. This high-security solution means that your private key never leaves your Trezor, but you get the convenience of a web login from anywhere to send RVN. For technical reasons, asset support not yet available directly from Trezor.
