Detail
An idea for using tagged addresses and Restricted Assets in lieu of whitelisting for KYC/AML compliance in peer-to-peer operation of Security Tokens has been well received. It was mentioned in the Security Token Academy newsletter. https://medium.com/@tronblack/ravencoin-tags-and-restricted-assets-84fe3070a226
A new release of the core client (version 2.2.2) that stores the indexes more efficiently and syncs faster is available now. https://github.com/RavenProject/Ravencoin/releases
The iOS mobile wallet with asset support is being released through the App Store. It is in review by Apple. Anyone with this link and an Apple phone can use the new wallet. The new wallet allows creation of assets, subassets, and unique assets. Anyone can view and transfer their assets with a few clicks. Meta-data for assets is shown on the phone. https://testflight.apple.com/join/NTVQ2FfY or get it from the AppStore
The Android wallet was temporarily pulled by the Play Store because of a policy change around data access. The changes are being made now and it will be submitted again for approval. Asset support is also being added to the Android Wallet. Android wallet with asset features is in-progress.
Hoard Wallet which aims to be a branded wallet for a variety of coins and assets that act like gift cards, and points has added RVN support. It will also support swaps. https://www.hoard.com
Vertbase added a USD to RVN direct buy option. This is the first direct dollar to RVN option — besides the ATM. Before this, it was necessary to purchase Bitcoin or another coin before purchasing RVN. https://vertbase.com

The price of RVN is around 334 sats (in Bitcoin), or 0.0129 in dollars. Ravencoin is right around coin 92 as ranked by CMC. Ranked a bit higher on CoinGecko because it takes into account the awesome community support behind the project. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ravencoin/
